Available in two variants, this scooter gets powered by 33 Ah 48V battery that provides a maximum of 250W. Hero Wave boasts of providing a 100Km range on a full charge, the highest in this section. It is operated by a Brushless Direct Current Hub motor, known to push the scooter to up to 25 km/h. There’s a speedometer, odometer, and a battery gauge along with an anti-theft alarm system. It needs about 7-8 hours to charge completely. Hero recommends that the battery should be replaced in 2 years and will cost Rs. 20,000.

Okinawa Ridge

This Gurgaon-based manufacturer’s only product is this electric scooter called, Ridge. It has a 24 Ah 60V battery that consumes 4-6 hours to charge completely. So, on a full charge, the scooter can travel up to 80 km and can speed up to 55 km/h, with its 800W motor. Another fascinating thing about Ridge is that it gets a fast charge option that can energize the battery to a certain level in 1-2 hours. Moreover, the scooter gets a telescopic front suspension plus tubeless tires to enhance its performance.

Hero Electric E-Sprint

The sleek looking scooter from Hero Motors is for the people who fancy a fast scooter. Its 48V 33 AH battery takes the scooter to nearly 80 km on a full charge, although it takes about 8 hours to charge fully. The E-Sprint can run at speeds of up to 45 km/h and uses a 1 Bhp electric motor.

Hero Electric Photon

This one looks like a regular scooter and does not possess the typical electric scooter marks. Photon comes with a 1500 watt or 2Bhp electric motor that provides it with a speed of 45 km/h. The range covered by Hero’s second electric bike is a clear 80Km distance, on a full charge.

Secondly, it has a 72 V, 24 Ah battery that takes about 8-9 hours to charge completely and comes without a fast charge option.

Indus Yo EXL

Yo Bikes were actually, one of the first brands to introduce the kind of battery scooter in India. The Yo EXL is powered by a 40 Ah maintenance-free battery that supports a 1000 W electric motor. This battery requires about 6-8 hours to charge fully and doesn’t provide the option of fast charging.

Indus Yo Electron ER

A lightweight scooter that can run up to 70 km on a single charge, this one weighs less than 84 kg and obtains its power by a 750W motor, that allows the scooter, a speed of up to 25 km/h. It owns a 48V 24 Ah battery that takes roughly 7-8 hours to charge completely from zero percent.
